Our company maintains an investigation team made up of experienced men who have served in various capacities in the Intelligence Units of the Nigerian police and other Armed Forces. When any incident occur these men swing into action immediately in conjunction with serving police and military officers to investigate the incident exhaustively depending on the level of such incidents. Reports are further sent to the clients and other appropriate quarters for every necessary actions and responses within a very minimal period.

After fulfilling the conditions for recruitment into our system the men will undergo basic industrial security training, before deployment.  The training exercise is being conducted by our consultant whose team of trainers goes round the branches to make sure that the men recruited are effectively lectured and certified fit before being posted to the beats and are capable of bracing up to the challenges in the field. Furthermore, our operatives are trained in such as elementary psychology, physical fitness, use of Enforcement, electronic monitoring security Gadgets, fire fighting, first aid, executive protection, public relations, etc.

We maintained a standard to operate a radio communication control room for 24 hour daily. This helps to communicate information to and from the locations/beats and immediate response enhanced. Our operations are backed up seriously with this system network. This means that the patrol  vehicle used by the co-coordinators and patrol officers would be fitted with a Motorola model base radio and handsets given to key officers such as the co-coordinator, patrol officers and beat supervisors, the same is applicable to the armed quick response team.

We offer special operations such as armed quick intervention team, which always constitutes a team of agile and capable men of the Nigeria (mobile) police force to confront some combatant incidents at a very minimal response time. The primary objective of this special squad made up of 3 armed mobile policemen, an experienced security co0coordinator, and a professional driver is to ensure quick response to distress calls such as robbery, abduction, kidnapping, fire incidents, executive protection, bullion and escort service. The vehicle used by this team is fitted with police approved /revolving lights and licensed siren to maneuver traffic congestions.

Our minimal Reponse time and effective fire power by our armed mobile policemen is well coordinated by our control room operator through the installed wireless base radio and handsets, is the main elements in the security and confidence of our clients .However, the responsibilities of these men are not limited to the points mentioned above but also extended to constant patrol visits to beats. These men are equipped with the following: Automatic rapid discharge weapon, high fire power, bullet proof jackets, handcuffs, tear gas electric stun guns, shock batons and others.

Due to the sensitive nature of the job being performed by these men a great attention is paid to their welfare to make sure that any form of distraction is avoided, that is why the salaries, allowances, bounces are paid as at when due. We have equally increased our capital base commensurate to our scope of expansion. In addition to the salaries we give incentive to motivate our guards in form of non-accident bonus for drivers, and relieve/ off duty per week and annual leave with pay.

For proper operational system and to enhance our service to our clients, we set aside certain rules and procedures are in line with the general security procedures as tradition guiding our operations. It is the tradition of Real First Defence Security And Safety Limited to carry out a security survey of the areas to be covered to determine the actual strength of manpower and equipment required are Motorola model Walkie Talkie handsets which are handled by the supervisors in each of the locations is headed by a supervisor who feeds the office with information at periodic intervals on the situation report. He serves as an intermediary between our company and our client. There are equally patrol officers from the office who visits the beats at both day and night without a specific time schedule. They oversee the activities of the supervisors and their guards. Among other responsibilities they ensure neat dressing and proper turnout of guards.

There is also a joint patrol team made up of armed policemen and Real First Defence Security and safety limited officers who will serve as a quick intervention unit (Q.I.U) Or rescue operation team (R.O.T) in case of robbery attack or any aggression at any of the areas being covered.

We work on two shift system which rubs 6:00am-6:00pm -6:00am however, relieve duty system is operational in our company. This enables the guards to attend to their domestic problems this equally prevents physical and mental fatigue.

Recruitment of security guards:

To become a Real First Defence Security and Safety Limited security guard, the applicant must possess such considerable qualities as:

1. Ex –servicemen (from police or any of the armed forces) as added advantage.
2. Must be literate (must possess SSCE or Equivalent OND,NCE etc)
3. Age limit(19-45 years)
4. Height (5.6 and above)
5. Physically and mental fitness

The applicant shall provide three reputable referees who will sign and guarantee his criminal responsibilities in case of any eventuality. The referees as well must attach their passport size photograph duly signed and fill the Guarantor ship form. A visit is made to the applicant’s address for information gathering as per his character. Any applicants who successfully meet the above requirement is eligible to undergo six months basic security training in Real First Defence Security and Safety Limited school, after which a certificate of competence is issued to the applicant, that qualifies him to be posted security guard and other relations follow accordingly. Before posting security guard to any location/beats, duplicate copies of his personal records file will be sent to the chief security officer of the company in whose jurisdiction he is to work for vetting and comments after which the file is kept for reference purposes. At intervals, the operation officer visits the chief security officer to inquire about the performance of the guards. This is done by means of checking through the records in the file or verbal discussion with the said officer.

For effective control of the operations, each branch is made autonomous, comprising of managers, co-ordinators and supervisors who are answerable to the company’s headquarter by sending monthly reports on security matters and other occurrence.
